Since 2010 MB Research Laboratories has sponsored an award for post doctoral students in conjunction with the In Vitro and Alternative Methods Specialty Section at the SOT Annual meeting.

This award recognizes an outstanding abstract by a postdoctoral scholar in the field of in vitro or alternative methods toxicology. A submitted abstract must be accompanied by letter of support from advisor. The winner receives an award of $500. This award is meant to focus on the practical aspects of in vitro or alternative methods, in contrast to basic research or mechanism-based research. A panel of judges composed of MB Research staff and an IVAM Executive Committee member will judge the submitted abstracts. Only abstracts submitted for the Society of Toxicology Annual Meeting will be considered for this award. Please review the general IVAMSS award criteria above.

Applicants must be present at the IVAMSS Reception during the SOT Annual Meeting to win. The winner will be announced at the reception. A $500 prize will be given with the award.
